  Banana Nut bread
A wonderful tread, and a perfect use for those old brown bananas. This recipe is easy to follow and produces a delicious healthy snack. If you do not like nuts, leave them out to produce a regular banana bread.



1 ¾ cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
¼ tsp soda
½ tsp salt
1/3 cup soft butter
2/3 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 cup mashed bananas
½ cup walnuts

Cream butter, sugar and eggs. Stick your finger in it and taste it. Mix in the mashed bananas and the flour/dry ingredients alternately. Taste again. Lightly grease the bread pan, pour in batter and bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees. Let cool 10 minutes in pan before removing.
